Lloyd K. Austin Sr. Dead at 81

Lloyd K. Austin Sr., also known as "Steelo," "Mr. Austin" or "Austin," of Estate Tide Village died on Jan. 7, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital.
He is survived by his daughter, Karen M. Austin; son, Lloyd K. Austin Jr.; sisters: Lillian Jacobs, Sharon Tutein Elien and Rayelle Tutein; brothers: Preston Tutein and Phillip Tutein; nieces: Lynn James, Karisma Elien, Annelle Knight, Aliyah Navarro, Keisa and N-Jeri Tutein, Renee Tutein Walker and Shemonia Tutein; nephews: Kristopher Elien, Akido Walcott, Preston Tutein Jr., Nelson Tutein, Phillip Tutein Jr., Adrian Tutein and Lyndon Hylton; great nieces: Laryn, Miajah and Prestine Tutein, Anasia Knight, Kianna and Kayla Rivera, and Skye Guerrino; and great nephews: Jordan and Justin Francis, Khalid, Dante and Austin Tutein, Anthony Encarnacion and Amaud Knight.
He is also survived by special freinds: Desmond Crosley, Delegate Donna Christiansen, Norman Francis, Sam Shannon, Dr. Michael Potts, Carmen Mills, Vincenta Pilgrim, Charles McGregor, Melvin McGregor, Eleanor Charles, Crusaders Club and American Legion Post 85; cousins and other relatives: Vagrave Tutein, Jenny Lendhart, the Crusaders fraternity and Luceen Carty; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The viewing will take place at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 16, at the Friedensthal Moravian Church. Interment will be at the Kingshill Cemetery.
