Avril C.V. Francis

Avril C. V. Francis of Estate White Lady died on Dec. 26 at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 78 years old.

She is survived by her husband, Glentis Francis; daughters: Crystal Francis-Jackson, Eugenie N. Francis, Elva Schoonover, Cecelia C. Francis and Carol-Ann L. Francis-Hendricks; sons: Dean H. Francis and Ira S. Francis; grandchildren: Michael Francis, Imo Derick, Ferdinand, Courtney Jackson and Ira S. Francis, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Skepple-Francis; sons-in-law: Cyrus Jackson, Scott Schoonover and Dr. Derick Hendricks; sisters: Shirley Glasgow and Naomi Isaac; brothers: Luther Isaac, David Isaac and Kingsley Isaac; nieces: Charlotte Isaac, Shirlene Glasgow-Jackson, Nicole Morrisey and Veronica Jeffrey; nephews: Tyrone Isaac, Lloyd Isaac, Laurne Isaac, Livingston Isaac, Timothy Isaac, Clarence Glasgow, Morris Glasgow, Winston Davis, Sylvanus Morrisey and Brian Morrisey; special friends: Ilma Elcocke, Diane Henderson, Octavia Harris, Cecelia Simmonds, Rosina Gumbs, Lillian Foster, Gertrude Powell, Lillian Reevan, Maria Lake, Eleanor Hendricks, Lilian Chesterfield, Maybeline Brow, Pastor Donald Bernard, the Frederiksted Wesleyan Holiness Church family; cousins and other relatives: Edris Symister and Daphne Harvey; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. will take place on Monday, Jan. 9, at the Midland Wesleyan Holiness Church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
