Tuesday, Wednesday Water Pumping Schedule

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority issued a St. Thomas water service update at 4:30 p.m. for Tuesday and Wednesday. Customers are reminded that times are approximate as water diverted from one area to another may not be immediately available .

WAPA will pump water to designated locations as follows:

Tuesday, Jan. 3

4-6 p.m.
Sugar Estate, Estate Thomas

6-8 p.m.
Altona, Contant, Subbase, Frenchtown, Lindbergh Bay, Contant Knolls

7 – 9 p.m.
Tutu High Rise Housing Community

8-10 p.m.
Hospital Ground, Ross Taananberg, Garden St., Bunker Hill,

Note: Bovoni and Nadir received water service earlier Tuesday. Water service for those locations, Havensight, New Tutu and Old Tutu will be updated on Wednesday’s schedule.

Wednesday, Jan. 4

6-8 a.m.
Annas Fancy, Savan, Veste Gade, Main St.

4-6 p.m.
Sugar Estate, Estate Thomas

6 -8 p.m.
Subbase, Frenchtown, Contant, Altona, Lindbergh Bay, Contant Knolls

7 – 9 p.m.
Tutu High Rise Housing Community

8-10 p.m.
Hospital Ground, Ross Taananberg, Garden Street, Bunker Hill

In preparation to receive water, customers are advised to check that all faucets in their homes and businesses are in a closed position to avoid mishaps once water flow begins. Please report any leaks observed throughout St. Thomas to the Water Department at 340-775-5873 so that water maintenance crews can make immediate repairs.
Updates will continue to be available at www.viwpa.vi; from VI.Alert.gov, by listening to local radio stations, and by calling 340-774-3552 and pressing #6 for a recorded message.
