Frank E. McNamara, better known as "Frankie," of Flamboyant Welcome died on Feb. 2, at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. He was 79 years old.
He is survived by his spouse, Glendine Mc Namara; daughters: Ingrid Hendricks, Lavern Perez, Francis Washington and Bernadette Worthy; sons: Dean Mason, James McNamara and Edward McNamara Sr.; grandchildren: Anthony and Shira Lee, Cheriice, Edward Jr., Kia and Chantel McNamara, and Anibal, Edward, Phillip, Derel and Jessica Bermudez; great-grandchildren: Deonte and Javohn Macklin, Ja’Layah Lockhart, Anand and India Ragnauth, and Krystal and Alana Bermudez; daughters-in-law: Grace Mc Namara and Sally George; and sons-in-law: Neal Worthy and Joseph Washington.
He is also survived by sisters: Eleanor Pendergast and Rosemary Nahley; brothers: Edward McNamara and James McNamara; brothers-in-law: Monroe and Ejnar Clendenin, Cleve Warner and Roywan Josiah; sisters-in-law: Yvonne and Daryl Roebuck, Anna Thompson and Elma "Rita" Josiah; nieces and nephews: Jocelyn Graham, Coralie Schmidt, Eustace Graham, Shawn Richmond, Esther Josiah, John & Patty Pendergast, Steven, Jennifer and Elizabeth Nahley, and Sean, Colleen, Jimmy, Todd and Collin McNamara; special family: Alfred John, Polly Murray, Pearl Miranda, Murial Warner, Avelino Romero, Juan Valentin, Rochelle Bermundez, Theodora Moorehead, Bridget and Gary Liburd, the Clendenin, George, Murray, Finch, Roebuck, Seales, Miranda, Worthy, Bermudez and Spencer families, and Janis and Claire Esannason.
Other survivors include special friends: Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brow, Lydia Thomas and family, the Schuster family, Desiree Schuster, Susan Kelly, Patricia Singh, Annette and Val Browne, Fidel Belardo, Susanna Ocasio, Betty Schneider, Pat Larsen, Serena Anduze, Mayann Pickard and the Holy Cross Family; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 11, at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Christiansted Cemetery.
