The Office of the Lieutenant Governor informs the Virgin Islands public that property-tax payments will not be accepted on Friday, Dec. 3, due to scheduled upgrades of the property-tax collection computer system. The Tax Assessor’s office will also be affected, and employees will be unable to perform property-tax-related record searches or provide property-tax information to the public. Payments for Cadastral, Corporations and Trademarks, Passport and Recorder of Deeds transactions will not be affected by the scheduled maintenance.
Functions of the Division of Property Tax will resume as normal on Monday, Dec. 6.
