Police on St. Thomas arrested 25-year-old Jahkim A. Moore and 24-year-old Jadd Henderson and charged them with first-degree robbery in connection with an incident that occurred on Vessup Lane road at about 1:30 a.m. Saturday.
According to police a woman was walking on the road when a green vehicle stopped beside her and the person in the passenger seat got out and demanded money. The suspect threatened the victim with a knife, took her black handbag, got back into the vehicle and drove off. The victim was not injured.
Police arrested Moore and Henderson following an investigation. They were held on $75,000 bail each and remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending further court action.
