Zelda A. Harrigan-Henley Dies at 97

Zelda A. Harrigan-Henley, also known as “Ms. Zelda,” of 394 Anna’s Retreat and formerly of Hospital Ground died on May 29 at her residence. She was 97 years old.

She is survived by her sons: Roy H. Stout I, and William and James Henley; daughters: Edris Villegas and Juliet George; grandchildren: Recaldo, Demencio, Altargracia, Danelo, Benado, Robelto, Narisco and Priscilla Villegas, Georgine Martin, Monique, Michelle and Roy Stout II, Rochelle and Roxanne Henley, Germene Thomas, Calhern George Jr., Carlos George, and Joy and Derrick Henley; 30 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers: William and Claudius Harrigan; sisters-in-law: Sylvanita and Joyce Harrigan; son-in-law, Calhern ‘Charlie Green’ George; daughters-in-law: Noreen Stout, Carole and Iona Henley; and many others too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 10, at Christchurch Methodist. Interment will be at Western Cemetery No. 1.
