Eileen Lake, also known as "Beryl," of Estate Calquohoun died on May 23, at her residence. She was 70 years old.
She is survived by her husband, George Lake Sr.; daughters: Penrose Lake, Gardiner and Jolene Lake; sons: Elvin ‘Mack’ Lake and George Lake Jr.; stepson, David Lake; grandchildren: Lawrencia Clovis, Sherisse, George and Christopher Lake; daughter-in-law, Yolandita Lake; and son-in-law, Murv Gardiner. She is also survived by sister, Maude Roberts; brother, Austin Roberts; sister-in-law, Evelyn Lake; brothers-in-law: Alfred ‘Natty’ Lake and Hilton Lake; nieces: Taps, Netta, Girlette, Lillian, Jacqueline, Louise, Claudia, Eileen, Ailean, Marion, Lucinda, Cecelia and Elka; nephews: Leroy, Daniel, Rudolph, Otis, Mario, Linroy, Otley, Otnell, Cornell, Everton, Lloyd and Curtis; great nieces and nephews: Cherlette, Sandy, Randy, Danielle, Daniel and many others too numerous to mention; special friends: the Jeremiah Francis family, Mike Francis family, Farquahar family, Marion, Theadora Clovis, Mavis Archibald, Edris Simister, Diane Rivera, the Seth family, Carmen Morales, Mrs. Friday and the Browne family.
In lieu of flowers and wreaths, donations can be made to the Class 4 at the church.
A viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 5, at Ebenezer Methodist Church at Richmond. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
