UNIDENTIFIED MAN STABBED AND KILLED IN C’STED

An unidentified man was stabbed and killed on Hill Street in Christiansted Friday afternoon.
According to police officials, reports of a wounded man were received at about 4:15 Friday afternoon. The victim appeared to be bleeding from the nose and mouth. The man died a short time later.
Homicide investigators were on the scene as of Friday afternoon, but little was known about what happened, or the name of the victim, police said.
The murder is the third in the territory this year. On Jan. 3 on St. Thomas, an unidentified construction worker was stabbed in the heart during a confrontation between the victim and his attacker at a job site.
On Jan. 6 on St. Croix, Llewelyn Ford, 48, was shot twice at approximately 10:30 a.m. during an argument with another man in Watergut.
