VI Carnival 2018 to Begin With Calypso Elimination Tent on March 31

VI Carnival 2018 kicks off at 8 p.m., Saturday, March 31, with the Stoli Budweiser Calypso Elimination Tent at the Crown Bay Marina Center.

Though the committee faced many challenges this year, the organization made a pledge to ensure that VI Carnival 2018 will be a stress reliever for the people of the Virgin Islands.

The VI Carnival Committee thanks the community for its usual commitment and participation in the annual carnival events.

VI Carnival Updates:

Tickets: Tickets for upcoming shows are available at Cheryl’s Gifts and Bags, Sole to Soul, Nora’s Beauty Palace, Urban Threadz, Fashion Source, Da Chill Station, Chelsea Drug Stores (St. Thomas-St. John) and V.I. Bridal & Tuxedo.

Application forms

  • Applications for Children’s and Adult’s Parade close on March 31.
  • Applications for Family Fun Day, including Dressed as a Doll Contest, close on Tuesday, April 10. No applications will be accepted on the day.
  • Applications for motor sports activities are available at the VI Carnival Office.

Schedule Updates

  • The Stoli Budweiser Calypso Finals will now take place on Saturday, April 21.
  • The First Bank Jr. Calypso Competition will now take place on Sunday, April 15.
