VIWMA Releases Easter Holiday, Transfer Day Schedule

Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority facility

The Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority (VIWMA) Preserving Paradise team advises the community of the hours of operation for the VIWMA’s facilities and administrative offices in observance of the Easter Holidays and Transfer Day.

Schedule for Landfills, Transfer Stations (TS), and Convenience Centers (CC)

Facility — Bovoni Landfill, St. Thomas

March 29/Holiday Thursday: 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

March 30/Good Friday: 6 am to noon

March 31, Transfer Day —6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

April 1/Easter: 6 a.m. to noon

April 2/Easter Monday: 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Facility — Mandahl CC, St. Thomas

March 29/Holiday Thursday: 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

March 30/Good Friday: 6 a.m. to noon

March 31, Transfer Day —6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

April 1/Easter: 6 am to noon

April 2/Easter Monday: 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Facility — Susannaberg (TS), St. John

March 29/Holy Thursday: 7 a.m. to noon

March 30/Good Friday: 7 a.m. to noon

March 31, Transfer Day: 7 a.m. to noon

April 1/Easter: 7 a.m. to noon

April 2/Easter Monday: 7 a.m. to noon

Facility — St. Croix (TS), St. Croix

March 29/Holy Thursday: 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

March 30/Good Friday: CLOSED

March 31, Transfer Day: 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

April 1/Easter: CLOSED

April 2/Easter Monday: 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Facility — Peter’s Rest CC, St. Croix:

March 29/Holy Thursday: 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

March 30/Good Friday: CLOSED

March 31, Transfer Day: 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

April 1/Easter: CLOSED

April 2/Easter Monday: 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

All administrative offices will be closed on Thursday, March 29 through Monday, April 2, in observance of the Easter Holidays. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, April 3.
