V.I. Government Invites Community to a ‘Stress Relief Walk’

Lt. Gov. Osbert E. Potter invites the community to participate in a “Stress Relief Walk” that will begin at 6 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 28, from the UVI Sports and Fitness Center to Fort Christian Parking Lot on St. Thomas.

There will be soca aerobics, music and entertainment provided by DJ Tony T and Pan in Motion.  Free T-shirts will be distributed to the first 150 participants.  This community initiative is sponsored by the Office of the Lieutenant Governor, the Division of Personnel, and Government Health Insurance.

“We invite everyone to come out and engage in this activity, which will help to relieve the stress and frustrations that many have been experiencing since the recent hurricanes.” said Potter.

For more information, contact Diana Brown at the Office of the Lieutenant Governor at 774-2991, ext. 4114.
