The family of Avon Alphonsia Potter of St. Thomas advises her family and friends of her passing on Dec. 4. She was 56 years old.
She is predeceased by her parents: Adolph “Pedau” Potter and Juliette Vialet-Potter.
She is survived by her son, Henrique Potter; sisters: Lynnette Moreland, Colleen Salem, Carey Wyllis, Calen Valmond, and Patrice, Ada, Carmen and Coral Potter; brothers: Noel and Adolph Potter; uncles: Eldred Sr., Milton, Richard, Henry and Ernest Potter, and John Stolard, Ramon and Riel Vialet; aunts: Olita Scatliffe, Orilda Varlack, Elcina Frett, Elvina Malone, Ileen Chalwell, Carlene and Charlene Potter, Janet Vialet-Woodley, Ulrica and Leona Vialet, and Helena Enrique; grand uncle, Theodore Vialet; 12 nephews; 15 nieces; as well as many cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, great nephews, great nieces and other family members too numerous to mention.
The family wishes to sincerely thank the many caregivers over the years that helped Avon and showed her compassion and kindness during her illness.
