Burglar Hits Gucci in Yacht Haven Grande

The Gucci store at Yacht Haven Grande was robbed Tuesday morning, the V.I. Police Department reported.

According to police, the store’s manager told them that when the store was closed Monday evening, all the doors were locked and the alarm system activated. She said she received a phone call at roughly 2:30 a.m. from the alarm company ADT informing her that the store’s alarm had been activated.

At the store, she saw that several showcases were destroyed and various pieces of jewelry and accessories were missing, and that the suspect or suspects had gained entry into the store through the southern glass door.

Police asked anyone with information on the crime to contact the Criminal Investigation Bureau at 340-714-9801 or 911, or the anonymous tip service, Crime Stoppers USVI, at 1-800- 222-8477 or online at www.crimestoppersusvi.org.
