A husband and wife were arrested Sunday evening after a domestic altercation turned violent, the V.I. Police Department reported.
At about 6:30 p.m. Sunday officers arrested Henry Richards, 34, and Tamika Richards, 34, both of Estate Dorthea. The couple was charged with third-degree assault, domestic violence.
According to the reports, Tamika Richards assaulted her husband with a bottle and bit him on his right hand during the fight, while Henry Richards, assaulted his wife with a bottle, causing a laceration on her forehead that required stitches.
No bail was set for both Henry and Tamika Richards, and the pair was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections, pending their advise of rights hearing.
