Two Men Injured by Gun Shots

Two men told police they were injured by gunshots Sunday while they were at a party at Vessup Beach.

The men, 19 and 21, were treated at the Schneider Regional Medical Center and then released.

According to the preliminary report, police were notified of the incident about 8:20 p.m. Sunday. The injured men told police they were walking on the roadway when a grey Ford Focus drove up alongside them.

Someone in the vehicle fired shots that struck and injured them, they told police.

The victims did not provide police with any other information.
