Alejandro Acosta Jr. of Estate Mon Bijou died on Dec. 13. He was 52 years old.
He was preceded in death by his, mother, Helen L. Andreas; father, Alejandro Acosta Sr.; sister, Christine Acosta; and brother, Darian Acosta.
He is survived by his sister, Sandra Acosta-Eubank; brothers: Lorenzo Acosta and Warren Acosta; nieces: Stephanie Eubank, Carla Lafong, Damali Acosta, Dafina Acosta and Khaleedra Acosta; nephews: Steven Eubank, Du’Juan Tyson, Warren Acosta Jr., Kadeem Acosta and Khalfani Acosta; great nieces: Mandella Acosta, Judah Acosta, Kezziah Morales, Elisha Sackey and Savannah Eubank; great nephews: Christopher Eubank, Savior Eubank, Elijah Sackey and Ezekiel Sackey; aunts: Carmen Acosta, Maria Gomez, Eileen Andreas, Andrietta Rosado and Maria Williams; uncles: Warren Jacobs Sr., Lawrence Jacobs Sr., Kalan Civil, Juan Soto and Lionel Andreas Sr.; brothers-in-law: Steven Eubank, Sr. and Edward Tyson; and sisters-in-law: Erica Acosta and Jacqueline Webster.
He is also survived by godchildren: Du’Juan Tyson and Makieda Shearn; special friends: Stanley and Ten Sleepless Nights, Cramers Park Camping Crew, Valerie Velasquez, the Wilson family, the Phillips family, the Burton Peterson family, Serrano family, Rosado family, Bellows Int. family, executive of the Lt. Governor’s Residence, Killer Bees Dart Team and Carmen Cassius; cousins and other relatives: Robert Jacobs Jr. , Warren Jacobs Jr., Althea Lamarr and Lawrence Jacobs Jr., Akeil, Akeisha, Akeelah Civil, Wayne, Lionel and Lydell Andreas, Debra Melinda, George and Wayne Ventura, Carmen and Ilena Santiago, Raphael and Natanya Acevedo, Collen, Patricia, Angel, Natalie Moorhead, Cheryl Francis, Ray Barnes, Valerie Lynch and Rachael Samuel; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 10: a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 8, at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
