Innovative Telephone and Innovative Cable TV is experiencing an outage due to damages to the company’s outside plant.
“On the afternoon of Aug. 1, a tractor-trailer pulled 900 pair feeder cable down from a utility pole. As a result of this damage to Innovative’s facilities, some customers in the Smith Bay and Cassi Hill area are without Cable TV and telephone service,” said Vice President of Engineering Dennis Chance.
Innovative technical crews are on-site addressing the outage, and they will continue to work until telephone service and cable service is fully restored to working order.
For cable TV or phone repairs, Innovative customers calling from landlines should dial 912. Customers using wireless phones can reach the repair center at 778-1742. Please have available the telephone number, statement number, address, description of problem and brief directions. For assistance, Innovative PowerNet customers should call f714-3700. Innovative customers may also report a service problem online by logging on to www.innovativevi.net, clicking on the “Contact Us” button at the top right of the home page and selecting “Repair Center” as the subject in the “Submit An Inquiry” section.
