Will Waldron Egert Dies in New Jersey

Will Waldron Egert Will Waldron Egert died in a tragic accident at his home on Sunday, April 7, in Bloomsbury, New Jersey. He was born on May 10, 1980, at Knud Hansen Memorial Hospital, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, and later moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, with his parents in 1990. He was 32 years old.
On St. Thomas, Egert graduated from Monroe Kindergarten and attended Sibilly School. He graduated from the Medical Magnet program at Stranahan High School in Ft. Lauderdale in 1998. He then attended and graduated from the American Motorcycle Institute in Daytona Beach, Fla. He was recruited by the Hooters Motorcycle Racing Team and traveled all over the United States with them.
Egert settled in Martinsville, N.J., in 2000 and bought a home in Bloomsbury, N.J., in 2008. He worked for Rollin’ Fast Cycle Sports in Lebanon, N.J. He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association; a lifetime member of the Varmint Hunters Association; a family member of the Broward County (Fla.) Airboat, Halftrack and Conservation Club; and a member of the American Motorcyclist Association.
Surviving him are his parents: John (retired American Airlines) and Tracey Waldron Egert (Antilles Airboats) Southwest Ranches, Fla.; brothers: Jesse (Vicki) Egert, Stuart, Fla. and Cy Egert, Tamarac, Fla. In addition, he is survived by his aunt, Jane Waldron (Roy) Gandolfe of Martinsville, N.J.; many cousins who all loved him dearly, and nephews; Gavin, Aiden and Declan Egert (Stuart, Fla.).
Egert also leaves behind to cherish his memory Meaghan Lapczynski, his loving and devoted girlfriend.
