Kenneth M. Hansen of Lyndhurst, Ohio, died on April 12. He was 91 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Bettye R. Hansen; daughters: Sandra Satterfield and Claude Hansen; grandchildren; Sofia and Desiree Satterfield, Shawn Parris and Joshua Tucker; son-in-law, Sylvester Satterfield; stepdaughter, Joan Greene; stepson-in-law, Joseph Greene Jr.; step grandchildren: Joseph Greene III MD and Brandy Greene; sister, Valborg Hansen; nieces: Shirley O’Reilly, Dorothy Horsford, Delita M. Civil, Glenda Hansen, Sonia Joseph, Claudette Philameno and Sandra Hansen-Day; and nephews: Morris D. Moorehead, Warren D. Briscoe MD, Maurice Doyle, Wesley Jr., Robert, Richard, Chris, Gene, Eddy, Henry and Niels Hansen.
He is also survived by great nieces: Michelle and Cheryl O’Reilly, Sandra and Nicole Horsford, Emma-Lisa M. Clarke, Tresa M. Civil, Aileen, Kalila, Monique Moorehead, Patrice Hooper, Denise Simmons, Cehara Briscoe, Denise Towers-Meyers, Lisa Towers, and Valencia Towers-Randle; great nephews: Terrance, Glen Jr., Michael, Tyrone, Shomari and Jarel Moorehead, Richard Horsford, Kalek, Karim, and Ajhi Briscoe, Hiram Jr., Elvis, Fabian, Shawn and Michael Towers, and Leroy and Lenny Williams; as well as other family members and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 2, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Castle Coakley. Interment will be at Christiansted Cemetery.
