Celia Torres Garcia Maldonado, also known as "Cielo," of Estate Peter’s Rest died at Juan F Luis Hospital on April 18.
She is survived by her sons: Domingo and Jorge A Maldonado; daughter, Celia Lissette Murphy; daughter-in-law, Gloria Maldonado; sisters: Gloria T. Camacho, Maria Esther Mendez, Mirta L. Martinez, Inocencia T. Garcia and Mary Torres; brothers: Miguel, Inocencio, Jorge, Eleuterio and Carlos Torres; as well as grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and family too numerous to mention.

A first viewing will take place from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, at the St Croix Majorettes Headquarters in Peter’s Rest. There will be a second viewing held at 9:15 .m. followed by a funeral service at 10:15 a.m. on Friday, May 3, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Christiansted. Interment will be at Christiansted Cemetery.
