Crime Stoppers: Prevention is Up to All of Us

Crime prevention is up to all of us. We will not see a significant reduction in crime until everyone comes forward with what they know. Crime Stoppers allows you to do that anonymously, with no fear of retaliation and without having to testify in a court of law. If you know something, say something.

St. Croix: On Jan. 9, 2012, at approximately 8 p.m., police responded to a report of shots fired in the Paradise Mills Housing Community. Upon arrival they found 27-year-old Manuel Alfonseca lying in the parking lot of Building 1, near a white Honda. He had been shot several times. He was transported to the hospital where he died. A 23-year-old male was also shot at the same time, but he survived. Descriptions of the shooter(s) were not provided. If you know anything about this murder, let us know.

St. John: On March 7 at about 5:40 a.m., police received a call through 911 that a vehicle near Island Blues in Coral Bay was engulfed in flames. If you know anything about this incident please let us know.

St. Thomas: On March 13 about 9:45 p.m., a man was driving his car with a friend in the area of Tabor & Harmony near the turnoff into Hidden Valley when two unknown males flagged him down. The men jumped into the vehicle, pulled out handguns and ordered the victims to empty their pockets. After taking their belongings the gunmen forced them out of the car and then sped off.
