GERS Offers Member Assistance With New Self-Service Login

The Government Employees’ Retirement System (GERS) has announced a schedule to assist members, one-on-one, with creating their login to the new member self-service, which was launched on Friday, March 15. Member self-service is a software application that exists as a safe and secured Web/Internet page and provides member access to data that they have on file with the GERS, which includes retirees’ paystubs, according to a press release issued Wednesday by the GERS.
“We are very excited about bringing this technology to our members as it will place information directly at their fingertips,” said GERS Administrator Austin Nibbs.
Members may visit GERS offices as follows:
March 20 – April 19: 9-11 a.m. and 2-4 p.m., Mondays through Fridays, in the St. Thomas and St. Croix offices
March 27 – April 17: 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Wednesdays only, in St. John at the battery
For more information, call 776-7703 or 718-5480.
