Students in the Elena Christian Jr. High (ECJH) School Band Program along with parents will be washing cars from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3, next to Miriam’s Restaurant, located across from Education Headquarters in Christiansted. The ECJH Band car wash is a fundraiser to facilitate participation in the 2012-2013 Crucian Christmas Festival parades.
Family, friends and other community supporters are invited to come out and get their vehicles spic and span while they help build the school’s band, instrument by instrument. Food and drinks will be on sale.
