Nelda Bowry, St. Croix Director of the School Lunch Division, has announced that a mandatory workshop is scheduled for prospective participants in the 2012 Summer Food Service Program, according to a press release from the V.I. Department of Education issued on Tuesday.The workshop will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May2, at the Curriculum Center in Kingshill. The free summer feeding program will run from June 25 – through Aug. 3.
Site managers or representatives of organizations and agencies interested in operating a summer feeding site must attend the workshop and complete an application for participation.
