Verna Hobson Percival better known as "Mommy Verna" died on Jan. 26.
She is survived by her sons: David Brown, Kevin Matthews, Benny Matthews, Ashley Percival, Benny Matthews and Glenroy Percival; daughters: Sabina Matthews and Maxine Matthews; brothers: Eustace Hobson, Wilmot Hobson, Robert Hobson and Earl Wyatt; sisters: Peola Priam, Bernice Berne, Mayfield Hobson; grandchildren: Keesha, BJ, Jehathan, Jordan, Maximus, Chandris, Chafeeza, Kjahni, Kyu, Jahmoi, Antonio, Chardinal, Lovely, Jordan, Raphael, Bianca and David; great-grand children: Rashad, Rihanna, Ricardo, S’Nai, Weniyah and Shayne; uncles: Ivan Hobson and George Duncan; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held from 8-10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 8, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home.
