Manuel Mayobaney Alfonseca Jr. Dies at 27

Manuel Mayobaney Alfonseca Jr.
Manuel Mayobaney Alfonseca Jr. of Carib Villas died on Jan. 9. He was 27 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Shaki Petersen-Alfonseca; mother, Norma Rivera De Mendoza; father, Manuel Alfonseca Sr.; stepmother, Pricila Roldan; grandparents: Isofilia Lindfors, Carmen Santiago and Manuel E. Alfonseca; daughter: A’Jahnira A. Alfonseca; son: A’ Jahni M. Alfonseca; stepson: Archile Barbel Jr.; sisters: Alanis Alfonseca, Yamilka Alfonseca, Desiree Irizzary and Stephanie Irizzary; mother-in-law, Cheryl Barnes; nieces: K’ Yara Newton and Yanielis; nephews: Luigi, Robel, Omar and Jeremiah; aunts: Edna Santiago, Rosa Santiago, Nydia "Tita" Santiago and Laiza Santiago; uncles: Jose Alnador, Luis "Ducie" Santiago, Luis Alfonseca and Martin Sanchez; special friends: Russell, Danny, Goldo, Fruits and Beatrice; cousins and other relatives: the Barnes family, Kai, Guariona, Elizabeth, Kenny, Miguel, Nicol, Latisha, Joey, Lely, Katy, Ninoshka, Edwin, Glory, Merylee, Inju, Kilo, Jahkim, Jamela, Shenequa, Lito, Lynkoya, Emmanuel, Dinoya, Henry, Alaira, Cindy, Raymond, Kelvin, Migdalia and Tato; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 20, at the Peter’s Rest Seventh-day Adventist Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
