Human Services Offers Training Sessions for Non-Profit Organizations

The Department of Human Services will offer its final American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) sponsored training sessions in December. Registrations will be accepted from the first 20 representatives of a nonprofit or faith-based organization in the territory.
Sessions on St. Thomas will be held at the Small Business Development Center conference room at Nisky Center, Suite 720; and at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital Cardiac Center Conference Room No. 2 on St. Croix. The workshops will be facilitated by Dr. Anita Davis-Defoe and will be held from 8:30am to 5 p.m., according to a press release issued on Tuesday by the Department of Human Services.
The schedule is as follows:
St. Thomas
Grant Writing Module I — Monday, Dec. 5 and Tuesday, Dec. 6
Grant Administration Module II — Monday, December 12, and Tuesday, Dec. 13
St. Croix
Grant Writing Module I — Monday, Dec. 7, and Tuesday, Dec. 8
Grant Administration Module II — Monday, Dec. 14, and Tuesday, Dec. 15.
