Minneapolis-St. Paul Travelers Needed

Are you planning to fly American Airlines to Minneapolis-St. Paul? The Humane Society of St. Thomas is seeking volunteers to help escort homeless pups to Secondhand Hounds, our partner rescue there.

As a volunteer travel companion, you will escort a crated dog through security on St. Thomas. (We bring the pup to you at the airport — so no extra work for you.) Once you reach Minneapolis-St. Paul, you will make sure the dog reaches the Secondhand Hounds representatives waiting for you at the airport.

While the Humane Society of St. Thomas cannot pay any cost of your plane ticket, this is a fantastic opportunity to combine your preexisting travel plans with helping our island’s homeless dogs.

One week’s notice is needed to get a dog ready for travel. Please call (340) 244-1423 to make arrangements.
