St. John Woman Missing Since Tuesday

Seara Samantha JamesSt. John resident Seara Samantha James, 21, has been missing since Tuesday, and police are asking for the community’s help in locating her.

James left Castaway’s Bar around 5 p.m. Tuesday. “She was with a group of friends,” Police Department spokeswoman Melody Rames said Friday.

James was subsequently seen at Mongoose Junction shopping center, Nature’s Nook produce stand and at Power Boyd residential area. Castaway’s, Mongoose Junction and Nature’s Nook are in Cruz Bay, and Power Boyd is located off Route 104 near the Westin Resort and Villas.

She was reported missing by her family on Thursday.

Rames said James is a St. Lucia native with a brown complexion, shoulder length black hair and brown eyes. She is 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs 120 pounds and has a medium build. She has a tribal tattoo on her right arm, Pascal written on her back and a rose on her left leg. She was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, black pants and carrying a black handbag.

If anyone has seen James, have any information as to her whereabouts or know anything that will assist police with this case, call 911 or St. John police at 693-8880. Tips can be reported anonymously to Crime Stoppers USVI at 1-800-222-8477.
