Evelyn C. Williams, also known as "Moms" or "Miss Shakur," of Estate La Grange died on July 20, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 76 years old.
She is survived by her daughters: Deborah Edmund and Valencia Gundy; sons: Leroy "Shakur" Keith and David Keith; grandchildren: Shakur Keith, Shannel Keith, Shalimar Davis, Nykim, Michael, Constantina, Johnathan and Jabah Gundy, David Keith Jr., Morris Keith, Gloria, Ruthy, Raheem, Antuan and JayQuan; countless great- grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Leslye Webb-Keith; sisters: Elouise Williams, Eugenie Samuel, Carmen, Morelle, Erica and Estelle Williams; brothers: Oneal, Wilbur and Donald A. Williams Jr., and Christian Samuel; special friends: Deloyce Ford, Melida Menders, Cheryl Joseph, Veronica, Jonathan, Zulma, John Abramson Sr., the Bidwist crew: Rose Johnson-William, Lavonne Thompson, Thelma Moorehead, Calvin Perkins, Beryl Doward, Larry Johnson, Rotary West Bingo friends and various other friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 29, at the Refuge Evangelistic Tabernacle Church, Estate Grove Place. Interment will follow at the Kingshill Cemetery.
