Crime Stoppers is asking your help to solve the following crimes. If you know something, say something. Even the smallest bit of information may be just what law enforcement needs to identify and arrest the criminals involved in these cases.
St. Croix: Several robberies have occurred in the past few days. Specifically, a woman who was leaving a night club in LaGrande Princesse had her vehicle and valuables taken at gun point. In the same area, a man was on his way home was accosted by a tall, armed male. In Frederiksted, on Emancipation Drive, two females’ purses were taken at gun point. All suspects are described as males dressed in black, with some type of mask covering their faces and armed with handguns. Law enforcement can’t stop all males dressed in black, but you should be aware of your surroundings and report suspicious activity to law enforcement. If you have a cell phone, consider carrying it in your hand and putting 911 on speed dial.
St. Thomas: Police need additional information on these two homicides: Shakir Richardson was killed on Thursday, Jan. 6 at about 2 a.m., in the area of Joseph Gomez Elementary School; and Timothy Metzger was killed on Wednesday, Jan. 19 at about 10:30 p.m.in the area of Palm Gardens; a small, white two-door car was seen speeding from the scene. Help law enforcement put an end to the senseless killings that are taking place here in our Virgin Islands.
