The Office of the Virgin Islands Taxicab Commission will be updating the files of all taxi medallions beginning January 2011. If you are the owner of a taxi medallion ending with the number 1, it is important that you visit the Office of the Taxicab Commission to provide the necessary information so that your files may be updated. If the owner of a taxi medallion is deceased, the next of kin is required to visit the office to discuss the current status of the taxi medallion.
Only Taxi Medallions ending with the number 1 will be updated in January. Thereafter, taxi medallion files will be updated during the month which corresponds with the ending number of your taxi medallion.
