Juanita Weston, 26, a resident of Oswald Harris Court housing community, was arrested Tuesday and charged with third-degree assault-domestic violence.
Police on St. Thomas arrested Weston around 8:21 p.m. Tuesday and charged her with stabbing a 26-year-old male in the left side of his chest with a pen knife.
Police said Weston, who was involved in a relationship with the victim, was shouting at the victim from outside his residence. When he opened the door Weston tackled him and stabbed him. The victim refused to seek medical attention.
Bail for Weston was denied due to the domestic violence charge and she was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending further court action.
