DLCA Releases Latest Gas Survey Prices

The Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs (DLCA) is notifying the public of its latest territory-wide gas price survey findings. The survey was completed on April 8 on St. Croix and April 9 on St. Thomas and St. John. The gas survey is designed to inform consumers on which stations offer the best fuel prices.

St. Croix
On St. Croix, diesel fuel and full-service premium fuel prices continue to remain stable. Full-service regular and self-service premium fuel prices both experienced decreases, while self-service regular fuel prices experienced a slight increase. The following information indicates where consumers can find the best bargain for gasoline on St. Croix.
The highest prices found on St. Croix for full-service gasoline were $3.99 for premium and $3.89 for regular. The highest prices for self-service gasoline were $2.99 for premium and $2.79 for regular. The highest price per gallon for diesel fuel was at $3.50.Complete table of information.

Regular Full Service —
Premium Self Service — 2.969 at Lionel
Regular Self Service — 2.599 at Gateway, Tankers and Sion Farm
Diesel fuel — 2.699 at A&H and Karim
St. Thomas
On St. Thomas, the minimum prices offered on all fuel types remained unchanged for the third straight week. The following information indicates where consumers can find the best bargain for gasoline on St. Thomas.
The highest prices found on St. Thomas for full-service gasoline were $3.70 for premium and $3.60 for regular. The highest prices for self-service gasoline were $3.69 for premium and $3.59 for regular. The highest price offered for diesel fuel was $3.62.

Premium Full Service – 3.499 at Total Gottlieb in Altona and Texaco in Smith Bay
Regular Full Service – 3.349 at Texaco in Smith Bay
Premium Self Service – 3.369 at Giant Gas in Mandela Circle; One Stop in Sugar Estate;
and Race Track in Sugar Estate
Regular Self Service – 3.269 at Giant Gas in Mandela Circle; One Stop in Sugar Estate;
and Race Track in Sugar Estate
Diesel fuel – 3.399 at Giant Gas in Mandela Circle and Gas Works in Bovoni
St, John
On St. John, Domino Oil still remains out of fuel. Survey findings represent prices for E&C self-service station.

Premium Self Service – 3.399 at E&C
Regular Self Service – 3.319 at E&C
Diesel fuel – 3.359 at E&C
