The deadline for applications for the Young Farmer Training Program’ as been extended to Friday. The program is designed to promote awareness of career opportunities and interest in the study of agricultural science. Interested applicants between 14 to 18 years of age can apply for scholarships to participate in an intensive three week program (August 3 – 21) at Fort Valley State University in Georgia. Applicants must be residents of the U.S. Virgin Islands and have an interest in studying Agricultural Science at the post secondary level upon graduation from high school.
