Feb. 9, 2009 – Mildred Leona Thomas died on Feb. 1, at her residence.
She is survived by her brothers: Bishop Elliott G. Thomas and Clarence Thomas; sisters: Blanche Thomas and Bernice-Louise Thomas Heyliger; brother-in-law, Sedric J. Heyliger; and sister-in-law, June Thomas. She is also survived by nephews and nieces: Russell, Cydnee, Jaylen and Hydeia Thomas, John, Yasmin and Cedric Heyliger; April Heyliger-Davis, Richard Sr., Eveth, Richard Jr. and Apryl Vialet, Randolph and Leonicia Niles, and Lonnie and Jerrell Benjamin; as well as many relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a pre-service at 9:30 a.m. and a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral
