Human Services Donates Telecommunication Devices to Clients

Feb. 10, 2009 – The Department of Human Services Disabilities and Rehabilitation program will conduct a brief presentation ceremony at 1:30 p.m., on Tuesday, Feb. 10, to donate eight telecommunication devices for the deaf (TTD) to the VI Association of Independent Living. TTD machines allow deaf and hearing persons to communicate via telephone.
The devices were purchased for clients of the association through the Independent Living Grant administered by Human Services.
