Brief: Police ID Second Victim in Mandahl Shootings

Feb. 9, 2009 — Police have identified the second victim of Sunday's double homicide in Estate Mandahl as 24-year-old Marvis Chamaro.
Few other details about the shootings have been released, but police are following up on all leads and urging the public to call in with any information they have. A $20,000 reward is being offered for information that could lead to the arrest and conviction of suspects responsible for the murders, police said Sunday evening.
The other shooting victim has been identified as 52-year-old Jack Diehl, a longtime Mandahl resident who came into the St. Thomas hospital with a wound to the head and chest, and died around 4:45 p.m. Sunday. (See "'Wrong Place at the Wrong Time:' Two Killed in Mandahl.")
