Police Arrest Man 'of Interest' in Pueblo Break-In

Dec. 15, 2008 — Police arrested a man early Monday morning on charges of drug and firearms possession, and they're also looking at him as a person of interest in the attempted burglary of Pueblo Supermarket in Long Bay.
Lebron Lewis was spotted by police shortly after 9 a.m. Monday walking near the Bella Vista Hotel behind Pueblo, according to St. John Deputy Police Chief Darren Foy.
"Police approached the individual, asked him what he was doing in the area and asked what he had on him," Foy said. "The individual said that he only had drugs on him. The officers patted him down and found drugs, two firearms and a police radio."
No other arrests have been made, Foy said. Police are offering a $10,000 reward for information that could lead to the arrest of suspects in the case.
Burglars tripped the alarm at Pueblo around 5 a.m. Monday, and were spotted inside and outside the store by officers responding to the scene. The intruders appeared to have gained access to the roof, and were able to escape through the store's back door, which was damaged when police searched the building a short time later, officials said.
