Olive Elenor Anduze Dies in New Jersey

Oct. 6, 2008 – Olive Elenor Anduze of South Orange, New Jersey, died peacefully at home on Sept. 22. She was born on St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, on Sept. 21, 1927. Anduze was employed by AT&T as an executive for 30 years and retired from the company in 1986. She remained a resident of South Orange until her death.
She is survived by her brothers: Leopold Macedon Jr., Lloyd and Roy Anduze; sisters: Norma Parsons, Rita Spain, Juanita Benitez and Joyce Clarke; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by other relatives and friends including the Schuster, Highfield, deChabert, Branker, Muckle, Brady and Anduze families; as well as others too numerous to mention.
A viewing will held from 3-5 p.m., on Wednesday, Oct. 8, at James Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will take place at 10 a.m., on Thursday Oct. 9, at the James Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the Frederiksted Cemetery.
