Dear Source:
I have read and reread what would seem as a good business idea and/or opportunity for the community. The Virgin Islands has constantly been in a deficit for many years and now someone has actually had his home and his people best interest at heart. I don't understand why islanders are upset, before this current governor, what has the prior governor's done for us besides leaving us a 1. a Hospital 2. a Jail or 3. releasing of some criminals for his personal reasons? Can any of those three legacies benefit us? We have tried other business ventures and loss. So what make this one any different? We have watch others come into the islands get rich, scheme, capitalized and leave us in the dust. I do not think the governor would put his people in that kind of jeopardy. We need to trust the person we put in office to help the boost the economy which will eventually boost our pockets.
Okay, the contract may need some tweaking to benefit the islands, the people, Cruzan Rum, and the environment, but that don't gave us the right to utterly dismissed the possibility of the potential growth and job that we in need of… There are another island campaigning for us to let this contract go they can scoop it up…Do/Have you wondered why they trying to have the Senators vote against the contract?
We in the Virgin Islands or many islands doesn't want change, knows what change is, knows when change is in front of us, how to embrace change and/or understand change can sometimes be for the good. If we lose this potential opportunity then those three legacies that were left behind would be in perfect use for the future generations. Victim A (the shooter) shoots Victim B which ends up in the hospital, Victim A will be transported to the jail and then sit and wait for another governor to let him/her out.
