What's Up Next on the Doug Lewis Show

June 5, 2008 – Tune into the Doug Lewis Show on WVGN 107.3 FM from 1-3 p.m., on Sunday, June 8. This Sunday we will feature music by Steve Winwood, Gino Matteo, Deadstring Brothers, Marcia Ball, Junior Wells and more.
The Modern Music Feature CD is "Nine Lives," the latest release from Steve Winwood. Winwood was formerly a member of Traffic, Blind Faith, and the Spencer Davis Group but has been a solo artist for a number of years. This new release is garnering great reviews.
The Indie Spotlight CD is "I've Been Thinkin" by an exciting young blues artist, Gino Matteo.
We play new music from the Band of Heathens, the Deadstring Brothers, Marcia Ball, KJ Denhert and more.
We also play music from Ray Wylie Hubbard, Tommy Castro, Junior Wells, Sara Hickman and more.
We celebrate the birthdays of Boz Scaggs, Chuck Negron of Three Dog Night, blues artist James Harman, Sara Watkins of Nickel Creek, Nancy Sinatra and Texas songwriter Steve Fromholtz.

We give away a blues CD from Johnny Barbato & the Lucky Dogs and CDs from Celtic group LAU and from folk-Americana artist Lori McKenna.
Doug Lewis Show is underwritten by Hook, Line and Sinker; Molly Molones; and St. Thomas Radiology Associates.
