Police Looking for 15-Year-Old Runaway

Oct. 12, 2007 — Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a 15-year-old girl who ran away from officials at the St. Croix Girls Group Home this week.
Shalena Prosper was last seen at 11 p.m. Tuesday walking away from the home at Estate Tan Tan Terrace, officials said. Employees say they ordered the girl back to the facility but she refused, according to a new release issues Friday afternoon by the V.I. Police Department. Prosper, who is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 220 pounds, has been classified as a runaway.
Prosper has a large " very visible" scar on her lower left arm, officials said.
Anyone who has seen Prosper or who knows her whereabouts is urged to call 911 or contact the group home at 773-6445.
