Beacon Schools to Hold Annual Golf Classic and Sports Clinics

Beacon Schools to Hold Annual Golf Classic and Sports Clinics
Beacon Schools of the Virgin Islands Inc. will be holding an 11th Annual Golf Classic the weekend of Aug. 18-19, at Mahogany Run Golf Course on St. Thomas. As part of the weekend's events, Beacon will also be sponsoring a basketball clinic on St. Thomas and a baseball clinic on St. Croix for the youth of the territory.
Both clinics will start with registration at 8:30 a.m., on St. Croix, at the David C. Canageta Ball Park. Registration is open to middle and high school students, both male and female. There is no fee for the clinic. Lunch will be provided, and T-shirts are available to the first 50 registrants.
