Beacon Schools to Hold Annual Golf Classic and Sports Clinics
Beacon Schools of the Virgin Islands Inc. will be holding an 11th Annual Golf Classic the weekend of Aug. 18-19, at Mahogany Run Golf Course on St. Thomas. As part of the weekend's events, Beacon will also be sponsoring a basketball clinic on St. Thomas for the youth of the territory.
The clinic will start with registration at 8:30 a.m., on St. Thomas, at the Mark C. Marin Center. Registration is open to middle and high school students, both male and female. There is no fee for the clinic. Lunch will be provided, and T-shirts are available to the first 50 registrants.
