Mr. Pfriender, do you have ties to St. John? Were you here 25 or 30 years ago when Lavender Hill was built? Have you seen St. John lately, or as important have you seen Sirenusa?
If you can answer yes to all of the above, than I cannot comprehend how you can possibly compare people's feelings about a small condominium development, Lavender Hill, on then a virtually undeveloped island, to the monster currently being built on an overly developed island.
How many public meetings concerning Sirenusa and other large developments on St. John have you attended Mr. Pfriender?
Do you really know the sentiments of the people on St. John?
I think not many, if any, and you don't know, otherwise your comments on the Senator at Large would reflect a different attitude.
I don't know, maybe things are just a tad different on Long Island.
