World AIDS Day Events
The 2005 World AIDS Day Committee announced activities today for this year. One of them is:
Nov. 15 is the deadline for youth ages 14 to 19 years old to enter the Balm in Gilead essay contest. Essays must be 300 to 350 words in English based on the theme: Stop AIDS: Keep the Promise. The winner will be announced at the Candlelight Vigil on December 1 and given a $100 cash prize, get a plaque and read the essay to the audience.
