April 30, 2003 Jamie Keyes won the elite level of the V.I. Cycling Federation's East End loop race on Sunday, with Sue Brown and Hillman Johnson coming in close behind. The race began and ended in front of the Solitude Country Store.
The distance of the elite level race was 39 miles. Expert-level competitors cycled 24 miles, and sport-level racers went 12 miles.
The Airport Loop Race is next, scheduled for May 18 with distances of 12, 24 and 48 miles.

1. Jamie Keys, 1:58:38; 2. Sue Brown, 1:59:07; 3. Hillman Johnson, 1:59:43; 4. John Harper; 5. Tom Guthrie.
Expert 2 laps 24 miles:
1. Victor Cruz, 1:30:13; 2. Dick Isherwood, 1:32:45; 3. Jed Page, 1:35:35; 4. James Meyers, 1:36:27; 5. Hanif Lafond, 1:37:36; 6. Kamal Russell, 1:37:59.
Sport 1 lap 12 miles:
1. Bertwin Martin, 51:16; 2. Francis Marius, 51:59; 3. Steve Nisky, 55:48; 4. Paul Gillette, 59:32.
