ROTARY CLUB FUNDS TRIP FOR V.I. SPECIAL OLYMPIANS

April 30, 2003 – Thanks to the donation by the Rotary Club of St. Croix Mid-Isle, the Special Olympics of the Virgin Islands will receive more than $17,000.
The fund-raising efforts, spearheaded by club member Sal Sempere, will allow 11 Special Olympians to travel and compete in the Special Olympics Wold Games in Dublin, Ireland, in June.
A check was presented at the Rotary Mid-Isle club meeting on Wednesday.
